Abstract
Perfeccionamientos en la fabricación de rectificadores de selenio por la superficie de la base o soporte en forma de polvo relativamente fino que se calienta después a presión a una temperatura suficiente para templar el material en polvo pero considerablemente más baja que el punto de fusión del selenio en el que el material empleado se prepara fundiendo primeramente el selenio añadiendole una parte de diósido de selenio con o sin otras substancias vaciándose depués el material fundido preferentemente en forma de una hoja delgada relativamente y después de enfriado se rompe y muele a polvo para los fines especificados.Improvements in the manufacture of selenium rectifiers by the surface of the base or support in the form of a relatively fine powder which is then heated under pressure to a temperature sufficient to quench the powder but considerably lower than the melting point of selenium in whereby the material used is prepared by first melting the selenium by adding to it a part of selenium dioside with or without other substances, the molten material then being cast preferably in the form of a relatively thin sheet and after cooling broken and ground to a powder for the specified purposes .
