Abstract
Dispositivo reductor-variador de velocidad caracterizado porque el variador lo constituyen dos poleas trapezoidales con posibilidad de variar la amplitud de sus gargantas, al ser comandado un plato de la polea arrastrada mediante una palanca que le provoca un desplazamiento axial; este movimiento recibido a través del variador puede transmitirse bien directamente, al engranar frontalmente los dos árboles del reductor, dado que van dispuestos axialmente, o bien a través de un reductor; este cambio se produce al desplazarse axialmente el árbol que da salida al movimiento.
