Abstract
Un dispositivo constituído por una envoltura cerrada que encierra un cuerpo incandescente, sensiblemente de hierro, susceptible de ser calentado eléctricamente y dispuesto en una atmósfera inerte, con preferencia, de conductibilidad térmica elevada, tal como hidrógeno, más especialmente un tubo regulador de corriente en atmósfera gaseosa, estando el cuerpo incandescente hecho de hierro adicionado de un elemento de aleación que reduce la región V;pudiendo presentar además este dispositivo las particularidades siguientes tomadas por separado o según las diversas combinaciones posibles: a) el hierro contiene uno o más de los elementos barilio, aluminio, titanio, sirconio, estaño, fósforo, vanadio, cromo, molibdeno, tungateno y plata; b) el porcentaje del constituyente de aleación del cuerpo incasdencente se elige de tal modo que la curva característica corriente-tensión tenga un aspecto sensiblemente plano; c) el hierro contienen un porcentaje atómico de tungateno de 0.5 aproximadamente.
