Abstract

Procedimiento y aparato para el tratamiento de hilos textiles, mediante los cuales se aplica a un hilo en movimiento una cantidad reducida y regulada de un líquido en proporción que no exceda de 8 por ciento en peso del hilo, caracterizándose porque consiste en hacer pasar el hilo en movimiento al contacto de una superficie, suministrando a dicha superficie una cantidad reducida y regulada de líquido desde un depósito por medio de un tubo de capilaridad cuyo extremo de descarga va situado en estrecha proximidad de la expresada superficie a una distancia por debajo del nivel del líquido en el depósito, siendo esta distancia tal que se obtenga el requerido nivel de líquido sobre el extremo de descarga del tubo y se reduce la cantidad de líquido que llega a la superficie por cualesquiera de las posiciones del tubo únicamente por la longitud y diámetro del tubo de capilaridad.
