Abstract

Perfeccionamientos introducidos en las uniones articuladas para el empalme de toda clase de correas de transmisión caracterizados por el hecho de que para aumentar la flexibilidad de la zona del empalme y reducir el peso de la unión economizando materia prima ésta se construye formando dos piezas simétricas de plancha metálica de sección reducida las cuales presentan cerca de las aristas longitudinales que se enfrentan sendas líneas de pequeñas perforaciones equidistantes a través de las cuales pasa un alambre arrollado en espiral que las une permitiendo el juego articulado entre ambas piezas gracias a que cada una de las espiras pasa con facilidad por las perforaciones practicadas en posición alternada en dichas piezas quedando así perfectamente distribuido a todo lo largo de la articulación el esfuerzo de tracción a que se halla sometida la unión.
