Abstract

Una llave para tuercas, que pudiendo ser plana o de tubo, y siendo del tipo vulgarmente conocido por la denominación de "estrella", en donde la superficie interior o de ajuste sobre la tuerca se forma mediante una sucesión de resaltes y entrantes radiales que se alternan, se caracteriza esencialmente porque los resaltes están previstos en un número doble al de facetas de la tuerca para que la llave esté concebida, estando calados angularmente entre sí y presentando cada uno una amplitud angular máxima que expresado en grados, equivalen, respectivamente, a los resultados de dividir 360 entre dos y cuatro veces el número de facetas de la tuerca, con la particularidad de que dichos resaltes presentan un frente diédrico con bisectríz radial y un ángulo que es igual o de preferencia, ligeramente menor que el ángulo de un polígono reglar con un número de lados doble al número de facetas de la tuerca.
