Un soporte universal para placas de espejos retrovisores, en el exterior de vehículos automóviles, caracterizado esencialmente por el hecho de que el mencionado soporte consta de un eje vertical, cuyos cojinetes o similares se hallan en una placa, puente o pieza de acoplamiento directo, mediante tornillos o medios adecuados, a la cabina o lugar preciso del vehículo, según demande su utilización, teniendo el citado eje, superpuesto o del propio material, un cuerpo de dos orejetas paralelas, cada una de las cuales lleva una ranura en arco circular, cuyo centro es precisamente el eje de giro del brazo o vástago soporte del espejo.
