Dispositivo de seguridad para calentadores de agua por gas, del tipo provisto de un termopar para la excitación de una electro-válvula que gobierna el paso del gas, caracterizado porque está constituido por un elemento fusible que se adosa al conducto de agua en la inmediación del serpentín de calentado, cuyo fusible es sensible a un exceso de calor generado accidentalmente en dicho serpentín a causa de una anomalía por defecto en la circulación del agua en la fase de calentado, estando intercalado eléctricamente aquel fusible en la conexión activa que relaciona el termopar con la electroválvula, de suerte que en la eventualidad de producirse el sobres alentado del serpentín por la citada anomalía, se funde el fusible y se produce la consiguiente desactivación de aquella válvula, con el consiguiente cierre del paso de gas y el apagado del quemador.
