Abstract

Procedimiento par ala producción de compuestos orgánicos fundado en la epimerización de eritro-2-acilamido-1-nitrofenil-propano 1:3-dioles y caracterizado por esterificar un isómero óptico o racemato de la eritro-forma de uno de estos dioles o glicoles para formar el éster di-nítrico 1:3. del mismo; por tratar el di-éster con álcali para una oxazolina; por tratar la oxazolina producto de reacción con ácido para dar lugar con ello a la fisión o ruptura del anillo oxazolínico con objeto de formar un propanol producto de reacción; por tratar este propanol producto de reacción con álcali por cuyo medio se hidroliza el grupo 3-éster con ciclización simultánea para una oxazolina y por tratar la oxazolina resultante con un ácido y neutralizar luego la mezcla de reacción por tratamiento con una base.
