Abstract

Motor de encendido por compresión que tiene por lo menos un: cilindro cuyo fondo incluye una precámara que comunica con el cilindro por un canal de transferencia, estando el émbolo provisto de una protuberancia adaptada para penetrar en el canal de transferencia hacia el final de la carrera de compresión, un inyector de combustible que desemboca hacia el interior de la precámara y que dirige el chorro de combustible hacia el canal de transferencia, caracterizado por la combinación de los elementos siguientes, que permite obtener que la combustión se desarrolle a presión sensiblemente constan te en el cilindro, a) el canal de transferencia desemboca en la pre-cámara por una abertura cuyo diámetro más pequeño expresado en milímetros, tiene un valor igual como máximo a 0, 6 D3/4, siendo D la medida en milímetros del diámetro con orificio interior del cilindro, b) la holgura anular entre la protuberancia y la pared del canal de transferencia tiene, cuando el émbolo está en el punto muerto alto,un valor expresado en milímetros igual como máximo a 0, 05 D3/4, estando D expresado en milímetros y, c) la altura de la protuberancia está fijada de manera que durante la carrera descendente del émbolo, la sección de paso ofrecida a los gases entre la protuberancia y el extremo de la pared del canal de transferencia sea igual a la sección mínima de abertura del canal de transferencia en la pre-cámara cuando el émbolo sea desplazado desde el punto muerto alto en una distancia igual por una parte como máximo a un primer valor determinado por el desplazamiento del émbolo desde el punto muerto alto (PMH) que provoca una rotación del cigüeñal idéntica a la rotación de este cigüeñal durante todo el tiempo de inyección a plena carga, e igual por otra parte, como mínimo, a un segundo valor que es la mitad de dicho primer valor.
