Abstract

Tira de protección de bordes para una pestaña del tipo descrito, estando fabricada dicha tira con caucho o material plástico deformable elásticamente y teniendo una longitud indefinida, estando dicha tira caracterizada porque, en sección transversal, está, provista de un par de brazos se parados (25, 27) que definen un canal de recepción de pestaña (3) estando cada uno de dichos brazos (25, 27), conformados por lo menos en sus superficies enfrentadas (33, 35) para presentar una porción generalmente recta (25, 27) que se extiende hacia el interior a partir de un borde libre del brazo para superponerse a una porción recta (3) de la pestaña y otra porción (29, 31) inclinada con un ángulo predeterminado correspondiente. Además, no se necesita que la parte recta esté constituida por dos espesores o en variante la parte puede estar constituida por dos espesores y en este caso, las dimensiones internas de la tira podrán ser cambiadas respecto a dicha porción recta (25, 27) y conectada con ésta enun codo (19, 21) de modo que entre en contacto con la porción marginal inclinada (5) de la pestaña, y porque incluye una zona plana (23) que separa dichos brazos (23, 31; 25, 29) 5 y que conecta conjuntamente los extremos de dichas porciones suplementarias (29, 31) en un punto alejado de dicho codo (19, 21) con lo cual el canal de recepción de pestaña formado entre dichos dos brazos presenta dimensiones similares a las de la pestaña (3, 5) a la cual se aplica la tira.
