Abstract

1. Centrifugal pump with split-cage motor and a single impeller which is disposed in a pump housing and has an inlet going into and an outlet coming out of an essentially flat, flush-lying side wall of the housing, characterized in that the outer ends of the apertures (7) forming the inlet (4) and the outlet (5) lie flush with the flat side wall (6) of the pump housing (2, 11), and in that the pump housing (2, 11), and in that the pump housing (2, 11) can be fixed with this flat side wall (6) resting directly or by means of sealing means (13) against the flat wall (23, 24) of a consumer appliance (15, 19, 25, 26) which has corresponding apertures.
