LA PLANTA COMPRENDE ADEMAS UN MEDIO DE ALMACENAMIENTO (9) QUE ESTA CONECTADO A LA CAMARA DE COMBUSTION (2) DEL REACTOR (1), Y UNA PARTE DEL MEDIO CALIENTE EXTRAIDO SE TRANSFIERE AL MEDIO DE ALMACENAMIENTO (9), QUE ALMACENA EL MEDIO CON OBJETO DE ACUMULAR EL CALOR DEL MISMO. EN CASO DE AUMENTO DE LA DEMANDA ENERGETICA, SE SUMINISTRA MEDIO CALIENTE DEL DEPOSITO DE ALMACENAMIENTO (9) A UNO O MAS INTERCAMBIADORES DE CALOR ADICIONALES (28, 29, 30) PARA SUPLEMENTAR LA PRODUCCION DE CALOR DEL INTERCAMBIADOR DE CALOR MENCIONADO EN PRIMER LUGAR (11).
