LA CANTIDAD DE NH3 ES AL MENOS ESTEQUIOMETRICA EN RELACION CON LAS CORRESPONDIENTES SALES DE HIERRO Y ACIDO LIBRE. DESPUES DE OXIDAR Y SECAR EL PRODUCTO DE REACCION MEDIANTE GASES OXIDANTES (3) Y (4) A UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A LA DE SUBLIMACION Y/O DESCOMPOSICION DE LA SAL DE AMONIO (PREFERIBLEMENTE DE 350 A 600 GRADOS C), SE SEPARA EL OXIDO FERRICO (14) Y SE RECUPERA LA SAL DE AMONIO POR CODIFICACION DE INFLAMACION (27) EN COMBINACION CON UNA COLUMNA DE LAVADO ABSORBENTE (19) Y UN CRISTALIZADOR (11). EN CASO DE QUE EL RECIPIENTE DE REACCION SEA VERTICAL, ES PREFERIBLE INTRODUCIR LOS GASES HORIZONTAL Y TANGENCIALMENTE PARA PROVOCAR LA FORMACION DE UN MOVIMIENTO CICLICO DE ESTOS. LAS SOLUCIONES DE DESECHO ADECUADAS SON A BASE DE ACIDO CLORHIDRICO O SULFURICO, Y CONTIENEN CLORUROS Y SULFATOS. EL OXIDO FERRICO OBTENIDO ES DEL TIPO PIGMENTO Y TIENE DIFERENTES MATICES DE VIOLETA.
