Abstract
Un método para aplicar una funda metálica a un cable eléctrico en el cual un trozo de tubo es tendido sobre un soporte adecuado, un cuerpo de cable es introducido en el tubo mediante una cuerda de remolque y el tubo es retirado del soporte a través de un dispositivo reductor, en el cual un soporte que tiene dos deslizaderas paralelas destinadas a cada una de ellas a soportar un trozo de tubo y asociada cada una con un lado de un dispositivo de remolque reversible de doble cable que tiene medios de accionamiento controlados desde la extremidad cercana de soporte, sirviendo al dispositivo de remolque para llevar tubos a encima de dicho soporte y realizando simultáneamente otra operación, y un equipo para la aportación de tubo y de cuerpos de cable y para la recogida de cables, un dispositivo de reducción para los tubos y un mecanismo de retirada para el cable, situados todos ellos en la extremidad cercana del soporte.
