LA INVENCION SE RELACIONA CON UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE ZIRCONIA DE ALTA PUREZA A PARTIR DE MATERIALES ZIRCONIFEROS DE BAJO CONTENIDO EN SILICE, POR LIXIVIACION A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 175 A 250GC, EMPLEANDO ACIDO SULFURICO QUE TIENE UNA CONCENTRACION TAL QUE HIERVE A LA TEMPERATURA DE LIXIVIACION. LA INVENCION INCLUYE TAMBIEN LA ZIRCONIA DE ALTA PUREZA PRODUCIDA DE ACUERDO CON EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE LA INVENCION.
