Abstract

The output of each voltage converter is connected to a set of separate inductor windings mounted on a stator of the electric induction motor. The various sets of windings are distributed evenly about the circumference of the stator. The sets of windings are insulated electrically from one another but are magnetically interconnected. - The number of sets of inductor windings is pref. a sub-multiple of the number of poles of the motor. The coils of the windings of the various sets of inductor windings are accommodated in the same slots of the stator of the motor. The coils are switched in regular manner about the rotor.
