Ventilation vent characterised in that it is composed of a sleeve 1 having, on one of the end zones of its lateral surface, a deformable border 9 constituted by the lateral succession of tabs 10 cut out in the body of the sleeve and delimited by successive longitudinal notches 11 and 12, the tabs, capable of inclining, permitting local extension of diameter and therefore adaptation to the shape irregularities of the opening, and in that the body of the sleeve contains an adjustable and demountable flap valve 2 having a swivelling flap 25 of slightly oval shape, and in that, between the protective and aesthetic grille 3 covering the front face of the sleeve and the said sleeve, there is a linkage having disconnectable elements. This invention is of interest to manufacturers of ventilation and heated-air diffusing vents, especially in fireplace (chimney) facilities.
