UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE SILICIO UTILIZANDO UN PLASMA GASEOSO COMO FUENTE DE ENERGIA QUE CONSISTE EN: A) GENERAR UN PLASMA GASEOSO EN UN REACTOR UTILIZANDO UNA CONFIGURACION DE PLASMA DE ARCO CON TRANSFERENCIA EN LA QUE SE UTILIZA UN MINIMO DE GAS PARA FORMAR UN PLASMA; B) ALIMENTAR DIOXIDO DE SILICIO Y UN AGENTE REDUCTOR SOLIDO DIRECTAMENTE AL REACTOR Y AL PLASMA; C) PASAR EL PLASMA GASEOSO, EL DIOXIDO DE SILICIO Y EL AGENTE REDUCTOR SOLIDO A UNA ZONA DE REACCION DEL REACTOR Y D) RECUPERAR EL SILICCIO FUNDIDO Y LOS SUBPRODUCTOS GASEOSOS.ESTA INVENCION ESTA DIRIGIDA ESPECIALMENTE A LA PREPARACION DE SILICIO PARA USO METALURGICO Y USO EN CELULAS SOLARES.
