New speed regulator for small single-phase electric motors of universal current characterized by comprising an insulating support disk fixed to the motor shaft whose disc comprises two metallic contact rings coaxial with said axis isolated from each other and combined with respective brushes connected in series with the motor circuit being each of said rings electrically co-connected with one end of respective elastic arms transversely subjected to the action of the centrifugal force produced by their rotation about the motor shaft and provided with respective extreme contacts capable of closing said circuit in dependence of its own elasticity and of opening them in dependence on said centrifugal force comprising at least one of said elastic arms means for the regulation of their position with respect to the other related to an external control.
