COMPRENDE: A) HACER REACCIONAR UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE ACIDO FITICO CON UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE UNA SAL DE ZN(II), MANTENIENDO EL PH DE LA MEZCLA A 1,5-3 MEDIANTE ADICIONES CONTROLADAS DE HCL; B) PRECIPITACION DEL FITATO-ZN(II) MEDIANTE ADICION DE NH4OH; C) FILTRACION DEL SOLIDO Y SECADO DEL MISMO. ESTE COMPUESTO PRESENTA POTENCIAL APLICACION EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA LITIASIS RENAL OXALOCALCICA COMO PRODUCTO PREVENTIVO DE LA FORMACION DE LOS CALCULOS.
