Abstract

At each conveyor pan (1) of the scraper chain conveyor, the plough chain guide according to the invention for baseplate ploughs has a guide section with three cover hoods (6, 7, 8) which cover the chain passages (14, 15) for the plough chain lying one above the other. In this arrangement, the centre cover hood (6), via its sliding distance piece (9), is connected in one piece by welding to an angle plate (3) bearing against the goaf-side side profile (5) of the conveyor pan, while the two lateral cover hoods (7, 8) are releasably closed by screw connections. All connections (36, 37, etc.) for support walking mechanisms, pusher rams, bracing devices for block or part bracing, boom controls and the like are arranged on the centre cover hood (6).
