SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO OXIDANTE, PREFERIBLEMENTE DESCARBURACION DE ACERO ALEADO Y NO ALEADO MEDIANTE TRATAMIENTO DE LA MASA FUNDIDA CON OXIGENO Y GAS INERTE EN UN RECIPIENTE METALURGICO, EN DONDE EL GAS SE INTRODUCE EN LA MASA FUNDIDA EN PUNTOS SITUADOS POR DEBAJO DEL NIVEL DEL LIQUIDO. PARA PODER REALIZAR EL PROCEDIMIENTO EN FORMA SENCILLA Y ECONOMICA, SE PROPONE QUE SE ALIMENTE A LA MASA FUNDIDA OXIGENO EN UNA PRIMERA ZONA Y GAS INERTE EN UNA SEGUNDA ZONA, Y QUE LA ALIMENTACION DE GAS DENTRO DE CADA UNA DE LAS DOS ZONAS SE ELIJA DE MODO QUE SE GENERE UN MOVIMIENTO DE CIRCULACION EN LA MASA FUNDIDA. SE DESCRIBE TAMBIEN UN DISPOSITIVO PARA LLEVAR A CABO EL PROCEDIMIENTO, QUE ESTA CONSTITUIDO POR UN RECIPIENTE METALURGICO CON TOBERAS DE ALIMENTACION DISPUESTAS EN GRUPOS.
