Abstract

The invention relates to a fog lamp for vehicles, comprising a hollow housing which is closed on the front side by a transparent element and a device for attaching the housing to a vehicle body. In order, in the event of minor collisions, to avoid damage as much as possible, it is provided that the device for attachment comprises two arms, of which one is connected fixedly to the housing and the other can be attached to the vehicle, and a snap-action swivel joint which connects the two arms to each other and has plate-shaped, elastic means for normally locking the two arms in a predetermined operating position about a pivot pin of the swivel joint itself and for making possible a relative rotation of the two arms about the pivot of the pin element as the result of the application on the swivel joint of a torque above a predetermined value.
