EL POLIMERO PIC SE PRESENTA COMO UN POLVO BLANCO CON UNA FINURA DE 75 A 200 MICRAS. ES UN EFICAZ SUSTITUYENTE DEL POLVO DE HULLA GENERALMENTE UTILIZADO EN LA ELABORACION DE LOS MOLDES DE ARENA COMO ELEMENTO FORMADOR DE CARBONO BRILLANTE, YA QUE SU CONTENIDO EN CENIZAS Y AZUFRE ES CONSIDERABLEMENTE MENOR QUE EN EL POLVO DE HULLA. LOS MOLDES OBTENIDOS SON UTILES EN LA ELABORACION DE PIEZAS FUNDIDAS DE SUPERFICIES LISAS Y LA CALIDAD DE LA PIEZA OBTENIDA ES SUPERIOR A LA DE LA PIEZA OBTENIDA CON EL MOLDE TRADICIONAL, EVITANDOSE DE ESTA FORMA LOS INCONVENIENTES GENERADOS POR LA UTILIZACION DE POLVO DE HULLA EN LA ELABORACION DE MOLDES.
