CONSISTE EN UN PROCEDIMIENTO QUE COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: A) CARGA: CARGAR UN HOTNO A BASE DE FUNDICION BAJA EN AZUFRE (0,005-0,012%) TAL COMO CHATARRA, INTRODUCIR EN UN CONVERTIDOR UNA FERROALEACION COMPACTANTE O VERMICULIZANTE QUE CONTIENE LA PROPORCION DE MAGNESIO APROPIADA PARA MODIFICAR LA MORFOLOGIA DEL GRAFITO. B) RETORNO: VERTER EL CONTENIDO DEL HORNO EN EL CONVERTIDOR PARA QUE TENGA LUGAR LA REACCION ENTRE EL METAL LIQUIDO Y LA FERROALEACION, DEVOLVIENDO POSTERIORMENTE LA CARGA REACCIONADA AL HORNO CALENTANDOLA NUEVAMENTE HASTA UNA TEMPERATURA APROPIADA. C) INOCULACION: VERTER EL CONTENIDO DEL HORNO EN LAS CUCHARAS, INOCULANDO UNA COMPOSICION DE FERROSILICIO QUE MODIFICA LA MATRIZ. Y D) ESTABILIZACION: MANTENER EL METAL LIQUIDO A TEMPERATURA EN LAS CUCHARAS DURANTE UN TIEMPO PARA LA ESTABILIZACION DEL GRAFITO COMPACTO, Y LLENAR O COLAR LOS MOLDES DE LAS PIEZAS A PRODUCIR.
