EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN DISOLVER UNA RESINA ACRILICA EN UN DISOLVENTE FORMADO POR CANTIDADES ADECUADAS DE PRODUCTOS ELEGIDOS ENTRE HIDROCARBUROS, ALCOHOLES, CETONAS Y ESTERES, OBTENIENDOSE UN LIQUIDO QUE PUEDE SER APLICADO, POR EJEMPLO, CON UN PINCEL, SOBRE EL METAL DE LOS OBJETOS DE JOYERIA. LA COMBINACION ADECUADA DE DISOLVENTES HACE QUE, TRANSCURRIDO EL TIEMPO NECESARIO, LA EVAPORACION DE ESTOS DA LUGAR A LA FORMACION DE UNA PELICULA PLASTICA TRANSPARENTE SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL OBJETO DE JOYERIA.
