Abstract

Safety coupling applicable to the solid but detachable connection of two parts capable of moving over an essentially rectilinear path. It comprises a female receiving piece and a male piece capable of being inserted in the receiving piece and of being prevented from emerging from it. The receiving piece has a coaxial rod provided at its outer end with a protuberance with a configuration as a spherical zone. The male piece has means for retaining the protuberance of the receiving piece and also means for locking said retention means and means for unlocking said locking means.
