SE DESCRIBEN UN PROCEDIMIENTO Y UN DISPOSITIVO PARA LA MEDICION DE LA VELOCIDAD Y/O DE LA LONGITUD DE BANDAS CONTINUAS DE TEJIDO TEXTIL. PARA ELLO, SE ENVIA UN RAYO DE LUZ SOBRE UNA BANDA CONTINUA DE TEJIDO TEXTIL, DE MODO QUE UNA PRIMERA PARTE DE DICHO RAYO SE DESVIE ANTES DE CHOCAR CONTRA LA SUPERFICIE DE LA BANDA TEJIDO TEXTIL Y ENTONCES EL RAYO DE LA LUZ DESVIADO ES CONDUCIDO HASTA UN DISPOSITIVO DE EVALUACION. LOS RAYOS DE LUZ REFLEJADOS POR LA SUPERFICIE DE LA BANDA DE TEJIDO TEXTIL SON CONDUCIDOS A TRAVES DE UNA LENTE COLECTORA CONVERGENTE Y LLEVADOS TAMBIEN HASTA EL DISPOSITIVO DE EVALUACION, DE MODO QUE ASI SE SUPERPONEN LOS CORRESPONDIENTES RAYOS DE LUZ. A PARTIR DE LA FRECUENCIA DE LA FLUCTUACION PRODUCIDA POR LA SUPERPOSICION DE LOS RAYOS DE LUZ, SE CALCULA LA VELOCIDAD Y/OLA LONGITUD DE LA BANDA CONTINUA DE TEJIDO.
