Abstract

The invention relates to a continuous process for depositing, onto a support strip (web) 1, which is laminar and continuous, a substance in the form of an ink or a paste contained in a reservoir 4 which includes at least one opening communicating with at least one, advantageously parallelepipedal, cavity, the open face of which comes into contact with the surface of the support strip advancing linearly by means of an entrainment device 2, the said strip being covered by the said substance which flows out through a calibrated slot made in the transverse wall of the cavity, the said process having the special feature of depositing the said substance onto the surface of the support strip by injection at a defined pressure.
