Abstract

In the case of a pipe connection, in particular for the refrigerant circuit of air-conditioning systems, having a pipe which is plugged into a receiving means and bears, by means of an annular collar, on the shoulder of the receiving means, the invention provides that said receiving means exhibits a cutout which is covered by the annular collar and into which there is inserted an O-ring which is compressed in the radial direction. In order to be able to establish the absence of the O-ring, the annular collar and/or the shoulder are provided with notches which span the abutting region.
