Abstract

In a fluid clutch, such as a torque converter, the blades (2) of the turbine wheel, pump wheel and/or of the guide wheels are fixed to the inner and/or outer casing shell (1,9), the blades being welded at (6) to the surface of the inner and/or outer casing shell (1, 9) facing the blades (2). A compressible plastics sealing strip (4) has holes through which the sections (3) to be welded extend.
