COMPRENDE CIRCUITOS QUE GENERAN SEÑALES AUXILIARES (S1, S2) QUE COMPLEMENTAN LA INFORMACION DE VIDEO CONTENIDA EN UNA SEÑAL CODIFICADA (314). LA PRIMERA SEÑAL (S1) TIENE UNA EXACTITUD RELATIVAMENTE ALTA, PERO UN ANCHO DE BANDA LIMITADO. LA SEGUNDA SEÑAL (S2) INCLUYE INFORMACION DE EXACTITUD RELATIVAMENTE BAJA, PERO TIENE UN ANCHO DE BANDA EFECTIVO MAYOR. DEPEDIENDO DE LA DENSIDAD (304) DE LA INFORMACION AUXILIAR, LAS PRIMERA Y SEGUNDA SEÑALES AUXILIARES SE SELECCIONAN (310) DE MODO QUE PRODUZCAN UNA SEÑAL AUXILIAR DE SALIDA COMBINADA (316) CON LA SEÑAL CODIFICADA DE VIDEO PARA TRANSMISION.
