Abstract

This appliance of the type of appliances which use a gas supplied under pressure to act as a refrigerant element comprises, at least, a platform (4) mounted floating on a support base, so that it tends to keep itself in the rest position, on which platform the receptacle (23) to be refrigerated is placed, with the opening pointing downwards, the platform in question being equipped with at least one outlet orifice (7) for the refrigerant gas, which emerges inside the receptacle when the latter is placed, with the opening downwards, on the platform, the platform being connected to a device for opening of passage valve (24) which controls the supply of pressurised gas, this device keeping he valve closed when the platform is in the rest position and opening this valve when a pressure is exerted on the platform after the receptacle to be cooled has been placed thereon.
