Abstract

Improvements to a tool which comprises two mirrors which are each joined to an arm of an articulated bar, one of which is positioned inside the mouth, reflecting the image towards the other placed in front of the user or opposite a third party, in which: a) the arms of the bar are asymmetrical and the articulation between arms can be dismantled b) at least one of the mirrors has a surface curvature, to provide magnification c) one of the mirrors includes an illumination system and means for switching it on and off. It is used for observing one's own teeth in the mouth or areas which cannot be observed directly by the user or by a third party.
