COMPRENDE: (A) HACER REACCIONR LA MELAZA, PREVIAMENTE DILUIDA EN AGUA, CON ACIDO NITRICO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 60 Y 100GC O CON PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO EN PRESENCIA DE ACIDO NITRICO Y SULFATO DE COBRE A UNOS 100GC PARA PRODUCIR LA OXIDACION DE LOS AZUCARES A LOS CORRESPONDIENTES ACIDOS GLICARICOS; (B) HACER REACCIONAR EL PRODUCTO DE LA ETAPA ANTERIOR CONUNA LECHADA DE HIDROXIDO CALCICO A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE CON AGITACION HASTA UN PH DE 8-9 APROXIMADAMENTE. LOS QUELATOS DE CALCIO ASI OBTENIDOS TIENEN APLICACION PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE SUELOS Y/O DE AGUAS.
