Abstract

Procedimiento de fabricación de un hilado elástico con revestimiento único, que consiste esencialmente en aplicar a un alma de goma retorcida un revestimiento formado por una cinta delgada estirada de fibras sustancialmente paralelas, arrollada en hélice alrededor de aquella en dirección contraria a la del retorcido de la misma, que es solidariamente mantenida en su sitio por medio de un hilado delgado de filamento continuo de elevada tenacidad, que se dispone en espiras espaciadas sobre el revestimiento formado con la citada cinta, y sustancialmente hundido en ésta, de modo que la cinta de fibras queda asegurada sólidamente en su emplazamiento mediante un hilado que tiene como peso tan solo una pequeña fracción del peso de la cinta.
