Abstract

An oscillating key 12 has a pawl (finger, ratchet) 14 which actuates a movable contact 10 in the form of a bistable-position spring. The cables (wires) 18 follow a winding path owing to the presence of partitions 20. The box 1 consists of two shells 2 and 3 linked by a hinge 4, forming a single body. The movable contact 10 constitutes a spring for stabilizing the connection and disconnection position, depending on the positions adopted by the key 12. The single-piece box 1 simplifies production of the switch. The partitions 20 immobilize the wires 18, preventing any tugging.
