Abstract

The wire piece (1) is bent to form a binder, an eye (4) and two wire webs (6) and (7) being connected to an opposite eye (5). One end (2) of the wire piece (1) is welded to the point of transition (8) of the opposite eye (5) to the wire web (6), while the other end (3) is welded to the wire web (7), separated from the wire-piece end (2) on the opposite eye (5). As a result, parts which project outwardly beyond the binder and which lead to entanglement of the binders and to a risk of injuring the hand when removing binders from a bundle in the hand are avoided. <IMAGE>
