Abstract
Sistema de transmisión del movimiento al plato giratorio de los fonógrafos y aparatos semejantes, caracterizado en que se desarrolla mediante ruedas que vinculan por adherencia o por fricción, el árbol de un motor a eje vertical al plato, que comprende una polea fijada sobre dicho árbol y que puede ser sustituida por otra de diámetro diferente, permitiendo de este modo la variación de la relación de transmisión entre el motor y el plato. Otra característica del sistema consiste en la rueda intermedia que se pone en contacto simultáneo con la polea y el plato y que está dotada de un mecanismo móvil que accionado por un resorte obliga a la rueda a mantener los contactos mencionados aún cuando se cambia el diámetro de la polea.
