Abstract

This system for lateral lighting in vehicles consists of the fitting of an additional lamp on the right side of a vehicle, in a lower rear region of this side. The lamp can be concealed so that it can be used solely as the driver wishes when passing another vehicle at night, at which time the driver will actuate a lever or push-button in order to propel the lamp outwards, at which point it will light up. Once the vehicles have passed one another, the lamp is concealed once more, which causes it to go out.
