Abstract
Cell with high yield ducts and rapid exchange bipolar electrode. Cell with high yield ducts and rapid exchange bipolar electrode, which can be used in electrochemical processes for obtaining basic products in fine chemicals by electrolysis, characterized in that the cell which contains the electrode is of a fixed nature, permitting the electrode to be removed from its interior which is sealed off from the outside by a double effect pressing system, the production units comprising identical cells on account of the reversible nature of the latter, it being possible to enlarge the unit through incorporating new cells, because provision is made for a tilting hydraulic press unit which is able to receive the set of cells, and ensuring a fast electrode change as a result of the arrangement of the cell in which the electrode constitutes the core.
