Abstract

A manual instrument for focusing light on a work point. It comprises a handle which has part of the proximal end adapted so as to be placed adjacent to said work point a light projection element located on said handle element adjacent to said part of the proximal end so as to project at least one beam of light towards said work point an element, borne by said handle element, for providing therein a source of light emitted from said light projection element and a filter element borne by said handle element in an optical trajectory between said source of light and said projection element. The instrument is useful in surgical operations.
