Abstract

A base plate for fastening a hinge arm of a furniture or similar hinge, consisting of a bottom plate fastenable to a supporting wall or the like by means of fastening screws or dowels and of a cover plate engaging over or covering this bottom plate at least partially, guided displaceably on it transversely relative to the hinge arm or the like and having fastening devices for the hinge arm, will, whilst being of simple design and simple handling, allow a two-dimensional adjustment of the hinge arm in terms of both height and depth. For this, the coverplate (2, 33) is equipped with guides (17, 18) for an intermediate plate (21) mounted on this so as to be longitudinally displaceable. This intermediate plate can be clamped together with the cover plate (2, 33) by means of a clamping screw (20) screwable into the latter and engaging through a long hole (23) of the intermediate plate (21). Furthermore, the intermediate plate (21) is equipped with fastening means for the hinge arm or for a further intermediate plate connected pivotably to this. The base plate according to the invention is of three-part design which in a simple way allows a two-dimensional adjustment of the hinge arm in terms of both the height and depth of the furniture. At the same time, the bottom plate, cover plate and upper intermediate plate can be clampable displaceably relative to one another and with one another in a known way and by known means. <IMAGE>
