EN UNA ZONA DE RECEPCION SE CAPTAN DOS SEÑALES SEGUN DOS EJES PRIVILEGIADOS DECALADOS ANGULARMENTE, SE DEMODULA EN FRECUENCIA CADA UNA DE LAS SEÑALES SEGUN VIAS DE TRATAMIENTO IDENTICAS, SE VERIFICA LA EXISTENCIA EN LA SEÑAL EMITIDA DESDE UNA DE LAS VIAS, LLAMADA VIA DE SALIDA, DE UNA SEÑAL PERIODICA DE FRECUENCIA IGUAL A LA FRECUENCIA DE SINCRONIZACION DE LINEA Y SE SELECCIONA ESTA SEÑAL SI ESTA PRUEBA ES POSITIVA. EN CASO DE DESAPARICION DE LA SEÑAL PERIODICA, SE APLICA ESTA PRUEBA A LA OTRA VIA, SI ES POSITIVA, SE SELECCIONA ESTA OTRA VIA HASTA LA DESAPARICION DE ESTA SEÑAL PERIODICA, YA ASI SUCESIVAMENTE. TAL PROCESO SE APLICA EN PARTICULAR EN UN TUNEL.
