EL SISTEMA SE MANEJA DE FORMA QUE PUEDE ABRIR RAPIDAMENTE LOS ARCHIVOS QUE HAN SIDO ABIERTOS RECIENTEMENTE O DE LOS CUALES SE TIENE UNA INFORMACION PARCIAL DE LA VIA DE ACCESO, POR MEDIO DEL ACCESO A UN CACHE DE UNIDAD DE DISCO EN LA MEMORIA PRINCIPAL. EL CACHE TIENE ENTRADAS ENCADENADAS EN UNA ESTRUCTURA DE ARBOL QUE SE EXPLORA PARA SUMINISTRAR LA MISMA INFORMACION DURANTE EL PROCESO DE APERTURA QUE LA QUE SE HUBIERA OBTENIDO DEL DISCO.
