Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve balance in sharing of voltage between control rectifying elements by setting impedance of a snubber circuits in a reverse-blocking direction of the fifth/sixth diodes lower than impedance of a snubber circuit in a reverse direction of the first/fourth control rectifying elements connected to positive and negative electrode sides of a DC power supply. CONSTITUTION:The first route through the first capacitor 18 and the first resistor 14 and the second route through the fifth capacitor 24a and the fifth resistor 22a are provided through the second resistor 15 as a route for discharging an overcharge amount of the second capacitor 19. Impedance of the fifth snubber circuit 45 is set lower than impedance of the first snubber circuit 39 in a reverse direction of the first control rectifying element S1. That is, the impedance of the second route is set lower than that of the first route, so that a discharge current of the second capacitor 19 is allowed to flow more into a power supply 4 through the second route. Consequently, a discharge amount of the first capacitor 18 is decreased to enable balance of voltage share between the control rectifying elements S1, S2 to improve.
