CON EL PROPOSITO DE REDUCIR LOS CONTENIDOS DEL GAS DE ALQUITRAN EN FORMA DE COMPUESTOS ORGANICOS CONDENSABLES A BAJAS TEMPERATURAS, COMO ES A TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, Y DE AMONIACO, LA DEPURACION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UNA ETAPA SECUNDARIA SIENDO UN LECHO FLUIDIFICADO DE CIRCULACION RAPIDA, EL MATERIAL DEL LECXHO ES PRINCIPALMENTE UN MATERIAL ACTIVO LAS FORMA DE UN MATERIAL QUE ES CATALITICO PARA LA CONVERSION DE AMONIACO Y ALQUITRAN POR LO QUE SE OBTIENE UNA CONVERSION CATALITICA DE ALQUITRAN Y AMONIACO CONTENIDO EN EL GAS NO DEPURADO. PARA REDUCIR EL CONTENIDO DE CLORURO DE H EN EL GAS, SE USA UN MATERIAL ACTIVO QUE TAMBIEN PUEDE ABSORBER EL CLORURO. EL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE Y EL CATALITICO FRESCO SE SUMINISTRAN EN UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA TENER EL CLORURO DE H PRSENTE ENEL GAS NO DEPURADO ABSORBIDO EN EL MATERIAL Y UNA CANTIDAD CORRESPONDIENTE DEL MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE EL CLORURO ABSORBIDO SE DESPRENDE DESDE LA ETAPA SECUNDARIA.
