LA IDEA BASICA CONSISTE EN UTILIZAR UN UNICO CRISTAL DE CUARZO (1) QUE ADEMAS DE SER EL PATRON DE TIEMPO, ES EL SENSOR TERMICO DEL CIRCUITO, MEJORANDO LA ESTABILIDAD Y OPTIMIZANDO EL CONSUMO DE POTENCIA DE OTROS SISTEMAS, ELIMINANDOSE LOS RETRASOS QUE SE PRODUCEN EN EQUIPOS CON SENSORES EXTERNOS. CUENTA CON UN OSCILADOR DUAL QUE EXTRAE DOS SEÑALES DE DISTINTAS FRECUENCIAS (F1 Y F3) DEL CRISTAL (1), COMBINANDOSE EN UN BLOQUE RESTADOR (7) QUE PROPORCIONA UNA SEÑAL DE FRECUENCIA TERMOMETRICA (FD) CUYA VARIACION CON LA TEMPERATURA ES MUY PRONUNCIADA Y PRACTICAMENTE LINEAL. COMPARANDO DICHA SEÑAL CON ALGUNA DE LAS ANTERIORES SE OBTIENE UN DATO DE TEMPERATURA QUE DETERMINA UN DATO DE COMPENSACION, APORTANDO LA INFORMACION DE LOS CICLOS A COMPENSAR PARA OBTENER UNA SEÑAL DE SALIDACON UNA FRECUENCIA MUY ESTABLE FRENTE A CAMBIOS DE TEMPERATURA.
