COMPRENDE, POR OTRA PARTE, UN CUERPO DE RECTIFICACION CENTRAL, MOVIL, SENSIBLEMENTE CILINDRICO, QUE SE PUEDE AVANZAR O RETROCEDER AXIALMENTE EN LA ZONA DEL CUELLO DE LA TOBERA DE LAVAL. LA PUNTA DEL CUERPO DE RECTIFICACIONB CENTRAL TIENE UN PERFIL ESPECIAL, QUE DELIMITA, JUNTO CON LA PARED CILINDRICA COAXIAL EXTERIOR DE LA TOBERA DE LAVAL, UNA ZONA DIVERGENTE QUE PROVOCA UNA EXPANSION DEL FLUJO GASEOSO. EL PERFIL DE LA PUNTA DEL CUERPO CENTRAL MOVIL Y EL DEL CONVERGENTE DE LA TOBERA DE LAVAL SON POR LO MENOS APROXIMADAMENTE COMPLEMENTARIOS.
